Warre and Tine have long wanted to have a child of their own. One day, their dream literally falls from out of the sky! Warre’s first impression is it’s a bird. On closer inspection, this little bundle looks like a baby girl – except this baby has wings! From that moment on, Warre and Tine do everything they can to raise Birdie. But Birdie is not a normal little girl, and longs to be in the sky, where she came from. This touching and humorous story about life, love, and growing up outside the nest celebrates our differences on this earth and beyond.  Based on a novel. Rated G.  Recommended for ages 6 and up. In Dutch w/ English subtitles.  ** NOTE: There will be a subtitle reader for the screening on Saturday, April 9.

Starring Canadian Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley, who will be in attendance.
